Solid SNL last night. Doogie Howser deserves a return invite. I did enjoy the open parody of Rachel Maddow. Although, I think Maddow could have been a little more Pam Ward-ish.. if you know what I mean. Also, Will Forte is a little underrated (skip about a minute in).
Sean Keeler discusses Drake attendance. The Bulldgogs have a respectable record, but I get the feeling most sense this won't be anywhere near the storybook season of a year ago. No Korver and no Emmenecker takes some of the buzz off the Dogs. Regardless, if Drake can't get 5-6,000 fans consistently they will always struggle to be a consistent program. That said, the Valley is a bizarre conference, and I wouldn't be shocked if Drake does repeat. They play Wichita State tonight, who has fallen way off the competitive map (6-9, 0-4). Remember the Shockers reached the Sweet 16 in '06.
Nice touch with the overly dramatic video Shockers. (And I felt obligated whenever WSU is mentioned.)......
